Marzi Emerson

Signifying her art with free, rhythmic strokes, Marzi Emerson is a contemporary artist whose artwork is bold and unapologetically evocative. A curious Kiwi from Asian descent, she travelled the world then settled in the Central Coast to raise her family in a seaside village kissed by the salty breeze. She is passionate about reflecting the female body and a woman’s duality of strength and subtlety as she navigates the seasons of life. Marzi’s gestural imagery captures the pulse of forms, figures & faces - they all start from a drawing from life then transformed into a conversation show piece.
