Angela Crowe
Angela Crowe is a contemporary emerging artist working primarily in acrylics on canvas. She largely focuses on portraiture, the human form and the natural environment, often combining realism with abstraction. Her creations often aim to evoke a deeper appreciation for the humour, beauty, tension and fragility found in nature. Angela majored in art in high school, studied creative arts as part of her teacher education program and taught visual arts to undergraduates at the University of Newcastle.
Upon retirement, Angela rediscovered her love and appreciation for painting as a primary mode of creative expression and in August of 2024, began working with various teachers and mentors to further define and cultivate her artistic skills.
